CWE-471
Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID)
Produkt nie zapewnia odpowiedniej ochrony elementu uznáwanego za niezmienny przed modyfikacją przez atakującego. Atakujący może zmienić dane, które powinny pozostać niezmienne, co prowadzi do naruszenia integralności systemu.
The product does not properly protect an assumed-immutable element from being modified by an attacker.
Pakiet npm utils-extend w wersji 1.0.8 i wcześniejszych zawiera błąd walidacji danych wejściowych prowadzący do ataku typu prototype pollution. Podatność jest krytyczna, ponieważ może umożliwić zdalne wykonanie kodu (RCE) lub wywołanie odmowy usługi (DoS) w aplikacjach korzystających z tego pakietu.
mixin-deep node module before 1.3.1 suffers from a Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID) vulnerability, which allows a malicious user to modify the prototype of "Object" via __proto__, causing the addition or modification of an existing property that will exist on all objects.
assign-deep node module before 0.4.7 suffers from a Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID) vulnerability, which allows a malicious user to modify the prototype of "Object" via __proto__, causing the addition or modification of an existing property that will exist on all objects.
merge-deep node module before 3.0.1 suffers from a Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID) vulnerability, which allows a malicious user to modify the prototype of "Object" via __proto__, causing the addition or modification of an existing property that will exist on all objects.
defaults-deep node module before 0.2.4 suffers from a Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID) vulnerability, which allows a malicious user to modify the prototype of "Object" via __proto__, causing the addition or modification of an existing property that will exist on all objects.
hoek node module before 4.2.0 and 5.0.x before 5.0.3 suffers from a Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID) vulnerability via 'merge' and 'applyToDefaults' functions, which allows a malicious user to modify the prototype of "Object" via __proto__, causing the addition or modification of an existing property that will exist on all objects.
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.1, 21.2.17, and 20.3.25, to optimize client-side bootstrap in Server-Side Rendered (SSR) environments, Angular supports Hydration via provideClientHydration(). During SSR, Angular serializes the application's runtime state (such as cached HttpClient responses) and outputs it into the HTML stream as a <script> tag with a predictable identifier. During client bootstrap, Angular recovers this state by looking up the element via document.getElementById('ng-state') and parsing its text content. Because the DOM element lookup for the state container is predictable and relies solely on the ID selector (ng-state), it is susceptible to DOM Clobbering. If the application binds untrusted user input or CMS content to element properties such as id (e.g., <div [id]="userInput"> or <a id="ng-state">) before the genuine <script> tag is parsed by the browser, the attacker-controlled element takes precedence in the DOM lookup. During hydration, when Angular calls document.getElementById('ng-state'), the browser returns the attacker's clobbered element. Angular then attempts to parse the text content or attributes of this clobbered element as JSON. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.1, 21.2.17, and 20.3.25.
: Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID) vulnerability in ABB ANC, ABB ANC-L, ABB ANC-mini.This issue affects ANC: through 1.1.4; ANC-L: through 1.1.4; ANC-mini: through 1.1.4.
An issue was discovered in Exasol JDBC driver before 24.2.1 (2024-12-10). Attackers can inject malicious parameters into the JDBC URL, triggering JNDI injection during the process when the JDBC Driver uses this URL to connect to the database. This can further lead to remote code execution.
Due to the formatting logic of the "console.table()" function it was not safe to allow user controlled input to be passed to the "properties" parameter while simultaneously passing a plain object with at least one property as the first parameter, which could be "__proto__". The prototype pollution has very limited control, in that it only allows an empty string to be assigned to numerical keys of the object prototype.Node.js >= 12.22.9, >= 14.18.3, >= 16.13.2, and >= 17.3.1 use a null protoype for the object these properties are being assigned to.
npm package systeminformation before version 4.30.5 is vulnerable to Prototype Pollution leading to Command Injection. The issue was fixed with a rewrite of shell sanitations to avoid prototyper pollution problems. The issue is fixed in version 4.30.5. If you cannot upgrade, be sure to check or sanitize service parameter strings that are passed to si.inetChecksite().
A prototype pollution vulnerability has been found in `object-path` <= 0.11.4 affecting the `set()` method. The vulnerability is limited to the `includeInheritedProps` mode (if version >= 0.11.0 is used), which has to be explicitly enabled by creating a new instance of `object-path` and setting the option `includeInheritedProps: true`, or by using the default `withInheritedProps` instance. The default operating mode is not affected by the vulnerability if version >= 0.11.0 is used. Any usage of `set()` in versions < 0.11.0 is vulnerable. The issue is fixed in object-path version 0.11.5 As a workaround, don't use the `includeInheritedProps: true` options or the `withInheritedProps` instance if using a version >= 0.11.0.
Prototype pollution vulnerability in json8-merge-patch npm package < 1.0.3 may allow attackers to inject or modify methods and properties of the global object constructor.
The External Visitor Manager portal of HID’s SAFE versions 5.8.0 through 5.11.3 are vulnerable to manipulation within web fields in the application programmable interface (API). An attacker could log in using account credentials available through a request generated by an internal user and then manipulate the visitor-id within the web API to access the personal data of other users. There is no limit on the number of requests that can be made to the HID SAFE Web Server, so an attacker could also exploit this vulnerability to create a denial-of-service condition.
Prototype pollution vulnerability in dot-prop npm package versions before 4.2.1 and versions 5.x before 5.1.1 allows an attacker to add arbitrary properties to JavaScript language constructs such as objects.
Nautobot is a Network Source of Truth and Network Automation Platform. Prior to 2.4.33 and 3.1.2, a user with access to add/change a GitRepository record could use the REST API to directly set the current_head field on the record, which was not intended to be user-editable. Doing so could cause Nautobot's local clone(s) of the relevant repository to checkout a commit other than the latest commit on the specified branch (resulting in misleading state), or potentially to be unable to make use of the repository at all (until manually remediated) due to the current_head pointing to a nonexistent commit hash or malformed value. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.4.33 and 3.1.2.
IBM Aspera Faspex 5.0.0 through 5.0.12 could allow an authenticated user to obtain sensitive information or perform unauthorized actions on behalf of another user due to improper protection of assumed immutable data.
